Thread seal for oven nozzle

The gas oven is one of the commonly used kitchen appliance in most western countries. The pipe gas goes into flame distributor of oven through the nozzle. The combustionincreases the oven temperature to bake food.However, when the gas flow through the nozzle, if there is leakage around the hood, the gas will accumulate in the oven. When the gas concentration has accumulated to certain level in the oven, the oven could explode. Therefore, the seal of nozzle is very important for gas oven. The recent design of oven nozzle in market is to seal the nozzle with glue. The process is relatively complicate and it is difficult for service in the field. With thermal expansion and contraction, the seal capability of glue will get poor. It will be very dangerous in a long term.

According to the characteristics and requirements of different customers, GSO did a successful design to meet their demands. The great achievement is to use the metal hard seal instead of glue. The process is easy to operate with stable performance and quick to change. Through the metal hard connection, no leakage of sealing will ever occur .The unique design make the air tight seal with no washer or glue. Meanwhile, it also has a fixture to protect the nozzle part to have excessive tighten to get fracture. The feature of the seal is that the inside hood cone surface will have contact of the elbow protrude round corner to reach the metal seal. Also there is a step at the end of the thread on the elbow so that the hood can not get engaged into the thread too much. With current design, we can accomplish the air tight under 60psi pressure whereas hood will not have a risk of crack with the protection of the step.
